The Patrons Program

The British Museum Patrons are an international group of individuals with interests in the Museum’s diverse collections and its broader vision and goals. They provide a vital source of income which helps the Museum fund a wide range of core activities including conservation, acquisition, research, education and international programmes.

Patron membership enables individuals to experience a deeper engagement with the Museum’s collections. Through a varied program of events, patrons enjoy unparalleled access to the entire institution.

Support received from the Patrons is invaluable and serves as a lasting legacy to ensure that the Museum collections remain in the best possible condition and can be enjoyed by future generations.

For information on becoming a Patron please call the American Friends of the British Museum office at 212-812-4362, or contact the Administrator, Emily Grand.
